Create Your Own Cloud with OpenStack
20/07/10
Hello everyone!
You've probably heard of cloud computing, if it is not the case I invite you to learn about Wikipedia.
Today I propose you to discover how to create your own cloud with OpenStack !
The aim of OpenStack is to allow any organization to create and deliver cloud computing capabilities using open source software running on standard hardware.
OpenStack Compute is software to automatically create and manage large groups of virtual private servers. OpenStack Storage is software for creating scalable object storage using clusters of servers to store basic terabytes or even petabytes of data.
All code for OpenStack is freely available under the Apache 2.0 license. Anyone can run it, develop it, or submit changes to this project. They are convinced that the open development model is the only way to promote standards of clouds necessary evil, remove fear of lock-in property for clients of clouds, and create a vast ecosystem that covers cloud providers.
If you have the means to test, please do so with all my heart, because such solutions are certainly the future of the computer world.
