Hello everyone!
Some time ago I told you about a free service from Microsoft called Windows Live Sync, which you proposed to establish a transparent and automatic synchronization of your files.
This service is now increasingly abandoned by Microsoft as the tool windows live mesh which offered similar functionality.
But if you are a user of one of these services do not worry! Indeed with the 2011 version of its package of free tools called Windows Live Essentials, Microsoft is introducing a new born devices called Windows Live!
If that name seems certainly not intuitive, yet it hides a rather well-designed tool!
Resulting from the merger of sync and windows live windows live mesh, this newcomer offers simply synchronize with a disconcerting ease, all your files between multiple machines, which are on your network or not.
What differences with former service you say? There are however numerous and significant!
Indeed, the service introduced a new management interface much simpler and far more successful than its predecessors!
Managed directly from the application, you will no longer need to log into the web portal to add and modify files or machines!
In addition, this new service brings a new synchronization feature!
You will now be possible to choose to synchronize your files between machines or with your Skydrive (Space 2GB of online storage available with any live account) or even both! Nice no?
It is important to note that Windows Live Devices is now compatible PC but also MAC! Thus you will be able to synchronize with simplicity of machines running under Windows as under Mac OS X!
Finally, other services not yet available in France should appear as the ability to add mobile (because Microsoft link reveals an "SMS management" on its interface when adding a phone ...)
Nevertheless, I have found a small things still lacking in this system.
If it is perfect for all types of users, it still lacks the ability to obtain more details on file transfers and ongoing actions ... which could confuse users the most seasoned.
One last thing to note is also that this program is still in beta 2! We can therefore expect that the enrichment Microsoft a little more before its release in release!
In any case I really encourage you to try as it might be useful for individuals as for professionals!

Synchronize files between machines with FolderShare

Hello everyone!
Some of you have ever had to work on several machines at once, for example on a PC Staff and a work PC ... or even a Mac.
But often it happens that we are missing a file kept on the hard drive of our home machine for example ...
I therefore propose a solution to solve this problem!
Do you know FolderShare , also called Windows Live Sync ? This is a little known service offered by Microsoft, and yet works perfectly well.
The latter indeed proposes a system of instant synchronization, which lets you select your directories and synchronize your machines, and thus to have permanently update your records on each of your posts.
Working seamlessly, you do not block the progress of your work.
Compatible with Windows AND Mac, this little app has become totally free and can be used very simply from a web interface very intuitive!
I invite you to test it.
